About Us

Hi! My name is Raquel, also known as Raqs. I started Raq City Scrunchies in February of 2021. I started to make scrunchies because I had noticed they were making a come back and I thought why not make something that I love to wear and have worn for so long because as a gymnast we always used scrunchies to put our hair back for competitions. This company started off as just me sitting in my grandmothers kitchen with a sewing machine making scrunchies to sell on my instagram account, it has now turned into a shopify website.

Whether this small business turns into something or not I am truly proud that I tried.
